It’s Christmas Day, and the world has paused to celebrate the importance of this special day.
This year, I have enjoyed this season more than most. I feel very connected – and it started with a shopping trip.
Most years I save shopping for Christmas Eve and always find myself rushing. Often I end up searching for items given to me on a list. I was never satisfied – so I changed the experience.
Over the past few months, I dropped the list and focused attention on my loved one’s needs. I opened my eyes and ears. How could I make their experience better?
I’ve never enjoyed shopping so much – and that got me thinking.
If everybody would focus on seeing and hearing what others need all year round – life would be so much better.
That sounds like a great way to live.
